Event will include a tour of the Meijer Majestic Theatre, a demonstration of moving lights, scrollers, foggers and bubble machines controlled by a light board (presented by
Hyatt and Associates and Odyssey Lighting) in the morning, a styrofoam production workshop in the afternoon and an evening performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Two workshops will be offered in Basic Casting and Moldmaking and CNC Router Software and Operation. The day will also include a tour of DePaul’s Historic Merle
Reskin Theatre and a theatre performance in Chicago.

Events for the day include an Introduction to OSHA and Safety in the Theatre given by David Glowacki from Michigan Tech University, and a Demo/Workshop on Sound Design.

Tour the 5 year old, 5-venue Performing Arts Center, and view design renderings from the Stratford Collection,which are on display. Event will include workshops/demos in Audio equipment and a look at the THX sound system, ask Making, LED Lighting, and Technical Training on the Road.

USITT 50th Anniversary Conference
